Hotel

The 4 star Amaragua Hotel is situated in Torremolinos, right on the seafront and close to the pedestrianised Paseo Marítimo of La Carihuela. It is half a kilometre from the centre of Torremolinos, half a kilometre from Puerto Marina and six kilometres from Málaga International Airport.

The Amaragua has 280 rooms, all equipped with a bathroom, terrace or balcony with a sea view, air conditioning, central heating, telephone, satellite television and a safety deposit box. The hotel has a luxury suite, eight suites and 22 junior suites, as well as adjoining rooms for families.

Facilities at the hotel include gardens and terrace, swimming pool, two restaurants offering a traditional a la carte menu serving local cuisine or a buffet, all with panoramic views over the sea, bar restaurant 'La Ola', conference and function rooms holding from 20 to 1,200 people, television room, tennis court and parking.

Your team will train in the Sports Village of Torremolinos. This is approximately 2 km from the hotel. Transfer to the sports village is included in the price. Besided 3 football pitches there's an athletic track, olympic swimming pool and an indoor hal. Also a gym can be found in the village.

Area

The resort of Torremolinos is on the southern coast of Spain in the centre of the Costa del Sol. It is 20 kilometres west of Malaga and 12 kilometres west of Malaga airport. Probably the most famous of the Costa del Sol resorts, Torremolinos was the first town on the costa to be extensively developed for tourism. It is now renowned for its discos, night life and busy beach and is popular with young people as well as families during the summer and a more mature clientèle in the winter.

The resort is on a hillside, with the Playamar area to one side and Carihuela in the opposite direction. There is a steep climb back up from the beach to the centrally located hotels and apartments. The area of La Carihuela has retained some of its fishing-port atmosphere, with seafront restaurants and bars backing onto a smart promenade that runs all the way to Benalmadena Costa along the coast to the south west.
